@ChrisWere Tabs are objectively correct for one reason: https://old.reddit.com/r/javascript/comments/c8drjo/nobody_talks_about_the_real_reason_to_use_tabs/

@ChrisWere tabs for indent, spaces for alignment, then everyone is happy

@ChrisWere I prefer tabs. They’re less fiddly, easier to configure, more semantic.

@ChrisWere tbf, I only go off styleguides since my editor auto formats everything, because I don't want to think about it. So it's mostly spaced though I do typically use the tab key though unless it gets messed up.

@ChrisWere
python -> spaces
everything else -> tabs

@ChrisWere I like tabs better because I can do Shift+Tab in Visual Studio Code to un-indent them.

@ChrisWere
I use space (tab converted to space too). Yes it removes control from the user reading the code (which could be seen as a negative), but it makes so the code displays consistently everywhere.
Also space is a more "normal" character compared to tab, which should make it more "portable".
Also, space has the length of a normal letter if you use monospace, which is a plus.
