The Jackal was very good I must say. It reminds me of course of 1975, when a significant incident occurred during an OPEC meeting when members were taken hostage by only six terrorists at the Vienna International Centre. Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, a Venezuelan took the name Carlos the Jackal inspired no doubt by Freddie's book. They got away, by negotiating safe passage with their hostages. "Arm of the Arab Revolution" had help from the Libyans of course. Arab tensions were as ever high. /1
