If your open source project's primary build system is a Docker container and/or it starts by downloading a bunch of pre-built binary artefacts, I am unimpressed.

(This toot brought to you by the fucking car crash that is trying to build local voice automation. Binary downloads during build that take multiple build options to disable, patched forks of dependencies, recommended option seems to be "Trust us, bro.")
