The channel I’m watching is telling me it’s the 25 Anniversary for Farscape. I’m pretty sure that was last year, because maths, but what do I really know?

Remember Farscape? I do. I was around and a viewer when it premiered on the fairly new SciFi Channel in March of ‘99.

The show is still a joy to watch.

I think of Scorpius as one of the great antagonists in television science fiction.

@Jimijamflimflam it was indeed last year. I didn’t know about it until a few years into its run, but I watched it every week once I got into it. Farscape is amazing. Really a shame what SciFi channel did to it. At least it got a miniseries to wrap everything up.

@Jimijamflimflam I was dismissive of it when it came out, oh it's that puppet show, but now I love Farscape.

It's incredible how often when watching it I have to remind myself that Pilot and Rigel are made of foam rubber and the skill of multiple performers.

@Jimijamflimflam I also concur with Scorpius being a top tier villain, after initially thinking he was ridiculous.

I love that the main characters almost kill each other every week and it gets dark af sometimes.

Random example, the time they went back in time, thought they'd prevented a massacre of innocents, but when they got back to their present they found out they'd made it much worse.
