@Auxonic not many of Chretien's own words in that. I don't think he's wrong with the necessity of "playing to the crowd" in politics. Politics follows society. Nobody wants to step forward with risky leadership moves like pointing out that the electorate is mostly brainwashed and living in a conservative fantasy world constructed through owned propaganda systems.
