Every year, without fail, we have a conversation that goes something like this:

"So what year is it this time? 17? 18?"

"Oh god I don't know. What year did we start dating?"

"2007."

"Really? Not 2008?"

"No no, we met in 2006, started dating in 2007."

"Right, right. So it's 18."

This of course means that we've been dating long enough that this relationship, the concept of us dating, is old enough to vote.

(It woulda've voted for Harris, for Prop K, and against that stupid recriminalization bill in California, fyi)
