Does anybody have experience deleting only their Instagram and not their Facebook account? I never connected the two, but I'm paranoid about deleting Instagram and it deleting my Facebook as well. I'd like to delete both, but I don't in fact want to de facto disown my whole family, so Facebook has to stay for now.
I've been trying to find a way to get away from Facebook for years rather unsuccessfully. Living 12,000 km away from your whole entire (not very online) family is a bit of a hurdle. But I haven't used Instagram actively in a long time and could easily delete it and not feel the loss significantly.

@mollymay5000 deleting Instagram will not delete your Facebook. They make you jump through all kinds of hoops of "are you sure? But are you, like, for real sure?" and try to guilt trip tf out of you when you delete Facebook, they won't make it as easy as just deleting Instagram.

@heathen Annoying to have to go through hoops, but good to know it's unlikely I'll accidentally delete something I don't want to haha
