@lt I'm trying to think of a use-case for this that wouldn't be much better-served by instead using a library dedicated to math and symbolic computation and such

@lt The motivation section is just “uhhh you use derivatives in AI for gradient descent so this is really good for AI” so that's probably just what they presented to their manager at Apple to get the project approved
