@elly it says that thing runs Android. But I guess, knowing you, yours doesn't run Android anymore?

Technically, Overte runs on aarch64 Linux. I just never tried OpenXR on that and I have never seen a graphics driver mature enough (Though chances are that Vulkan support will be finished till FOSDEM).

@juliangro Not yet, I sadly didn't have time to work on it properly... I might get to the point of having simplefb running by FOSDEM, but no cameras, NPU, 6DoF etc

@elly The end of an era...

I remember when Microsoft marketed mixed reality heavily. Back then, it was the coolest thing ever to me. I really wanted one of those headsets.

Now, years later... until seeing this post I forgot that this even existed. It never really took off.

...It would definitely be cool to see something similar gain at least popularity within a niche on Linux. That would be really interesting.
