I have had dozens of cameras but the Sony RX100V is my favorite camera I have ever owned:

this camera is 9 years old but I cannot find anything better on the market today

@kepano Because the Sony RX100 exists, I don’t understand at all why people upgrade their iPhone every single year or two. (Most do it for the ”better camera“.)

The CPU of a four-year old iPhone is still more than capable to power Instagram, WhatsApp or Spotify. People cite the better camera as the reason why they upgrade.

Instead of buying the Sony RX100 and upgrading their iPhone every five years or so, they spend more than the RX100 costs, almost every year, only to spend it again in the following year.
