If you share images of what to do during a weather-related emergency, share that advice with blind and low-vision users, too. Add alt text. The alt text should include the text in the image, rather than just a vague description, so people aren't missing out on vital information.

I have hand impairments and other conditions that affect my energy, strength, concentration, etc. Writing alt-text can feel like an added difficulty. But I try. Because I'd hope someone might bother for me.

I have mentioned this before, but I used to be quite lazy about alt-txt, but if one follows the bot called @PleaseCaptionBot, then every time you post an image without alt-txt, it will immediately DM you with a reminder to go back and add it.
