Sorry, but I’ve been to a number of memorials where attendees who wouldn’t pee on each other if they were on fire fake normal interaction out of respect . In fact my spouse and I will be in that position tomorrow.

This is a display of basic manners and quite frankly I’d rather see this than another picture of that creature with an I’m bored scowl .

@ruicarneiro you’re reaching. I haven’t cast blame, nor would US or western politicians be immune if I had. As to heros and villains I believe I was the one saying a moment at a public event is not a lifetime of work. It’s not an either or world.

In any case there are no more heros, and if you say but Bernie I’ll scream.

It is not a question of "who", Bernie Sanders or other... US is not a democracy it is a oligarchy. The US capitalist regime have captured the law and justice, it's one of the most corrupt regimes on earth, to the rest of the world it is a kleptocracy. You are at the point of having to choose between a fascist who endorses genocide and war to steal resources, Kamala, and a neo nazi Trump supported by US olygarchs.

@ruicarneiro well I can’t say you’re wrong. It is sort of the way of the world these days . I probably won’t live to see the U.S. get dragged down to third world country status, however I have every confidence that when it does there will be another revolution.

When you’re killing people by removing safety nets and rights those people have nothing to lose . Gonna die anyway you might as well make it count for something .
