@somnius My blog federates to Mastodon @gendor@gerritniezen.com . On my Merveilles.town account I can only see posts up until June, and the 5 more recent posts I can only see when logged in from other accounts (e.g. on mastodon.social). Any idea what's going on?

@gendor I'm not sure. Scrolling back on both Ivory and on Merveilles web, I can see posts back to 2020 and beyond on that account, but I can replicate not seeing the most recent few posts on both. There may have been some error on our end when those posts federated to here, I can investigate this a bit later!

@gendor Took a closer look and tried to "refresh" the account and unfortunately that didn't seem to rebuild with new posts, I only see the latest post from June. None of the images on those articles seem to exist either. I'm honestly unsure what to do next, this could be a Hometown bug?

@somnius Could be. Would be interesting to see if it could be repro'd on another Hometown instance. FWIW, looks like someone else on Merveilles reported a similar issue on the blog forum: https://discuss.write.as/t/federation-troubleshooting/227/52 Thanks for taking some time to look into this.

@gendor A further discovery: combing through the logs, I actually got a 500 error when following your account just today. My guess is that this is something wrong with how our instance is connected to write.as, and may be more of an issue on their end.

I'm unsure what exactly the error is, but I can add info to the thread you linked to see if that helps!
