@somnius My blog federates to Mastodon @gendor@gerritniezen.com . On my Merveilles.town account I can only see posts up until June, and the 5 more recent posts I can only see when logged in from other accounts (e.g. on mastodon.social). Any idea what's going on?

This was such a good read on what it means to have impact. Scale horizontally by spreading the values that made you successful.

Amazing data viz on standers and sitters, with a great point about how we often fetishize manual labour: https://pudding.cool/2024/11/sitters-standers/

Upgraded the Raspberry Pi Zero W in my Pioreactor to a Pi Zero 2 W. So nice that there are now ones available that come with pre-soldered headers.

Last night I had a child get both his legs stuck in handrails and had the other child flood the bathroom floor after he managed to block the toilet. This morning they found a dead mouse in the living room. What's next?

Upgraded my low-cost OpenFlexure microscope to the high-resolution version just by adding two 3D-printed pieces, an objective and a lens. Now I can look at things at 40x magnification - open source FTW!

@cblgh How far away are you form hitting your 350 purchases with Rad Reader? I was hoping to find the code so that I can recompile it (Rad Reader is linked against an older version of WebKit that's not available on Ubuntu 24.04 anymore), but looks like it's not open sourced yet?
