I'm told that nowadays #men often suffer from #loneliness because they are unable to establish romantic relationships, but this is somehow not true of #women.

How is that possible? Most people are cishet and monogamous, and in order for a cishet monogamous #woman to be in a romantic relationship, one corresponding #man must be in one as well. Nor is there a shortage of women; there are more women than men. So what in the world is going on here?

1, Women usually have a much larger support network, and more friends than men.

2. Loneliness should be defined as a lack of 'romantic' and 'friends' relationship and not just as romantic relationships.

3. The destruction of support networks (unions, clubs, non profits, etc) by capitalism is a thing. A lot of these were helpful in maintaining a healthy social life.
