[#]FPQuestion of the day:

Did you or will you hand-write any holiday cards this year? What pen and ink did you choose? What kind of response did you get from the recipients?

@penfount I intended to, but didn't. I couldn't decide on any cards I liked that were known to be fountain pen friendly, then ran out of time/energy. Maybe next year.

@penfount I wrote very basic cards to my family and my Secret Santa exchange recipients. Just a simple “Merry Christmas” / “Happy New Year” with whatever pens I had inked at the time. I have more cards I wanted to write but didn’t, so those I guess will just be turning into Chinese New Year cards or regular letters

@penfount I sent out a bunch of Xmas cards. I used my Benu Vodka on the Rocks FP with Birmingham Blizzard Twinkle ink. Sparkly pen and sparkly ink!

@penfount yes! A stack of cards to far flung friends and family. My annual way to stay in touch. Inside note written with Papier Plume Burgundy ink. Addressed with Papier Plume Irish Channel Green. Both bought in #neworleans Pens were sparkly Jinhao x750 medium nib. Only one person asked about it. Whatever. It pleases me.
