Yesterday I came home to no working home automation because the SSD of my home server died... again.
Fortunately this time I was prepared and had local backups on the hard drive array, so I just had to rename ZFS snapshots and redeploy to have it booting from there.
Is my NUC making those SSD have a hard time? Is the workload too much for WD Blue? It's a bit hot in there, but it should be fine, no?
Now I'm wondering if I should try again with another SSD, or change everything and move to a proper tower setup (and move my dedicated server home while at it)...

@lord
In my lifetime I've had 4 SSDs fail, 3 HDDs (despite having used many more of those), a handful of USB sticks and I've lost count for (micro)SD cards. Around half of those were decent quality. This is not counting gross misuse. Am I cursed?
