I told my wife about the new meta rules carving out that it's ok to call lgbt+ people mentally unstable etc, but nobody else.

She said she couldn't believe i fell for such obviously stupid headlines, so then I went to their website and showed it to her.

Yep this is real life!

The pendulum is gaining a lot of momentum for intolerance of assholes and actually giving a shit about people.

I for one cannot wait.

@aeva @eniko it's complicated, but over simplifying, she thinks trump and simar are mostly harmless buffoons that will go away in time and not worth her attention basically.

I think he in particular should get attention starved, and I don't think there is much we can do to fix this (points in various directions) ourselves, and don't think perseverating on the doom helps so I can't blame her too much.

But yeah, her response was basically "meh", so not mentioned 😂
