It shouldn't be up to women to police dangerous men. It is up to men to recognise the predators around them and to protect their loved ones. I'm personally tired of the narrative of "dangerous men". Men may be more physically powerful but that doesn't make us inherently more dangerous. If anything women take advantage of this trope in order to manipulate men into doing the violence on their behalf, often by preying on the "white knight" impulse to protect those who masquerade as weak and vulnerable. One technical term for this sort of behaviour is "relational aggression", which is predominantly a feminine trait. Norse sagas for instance are chock full of stories of women who manipulated men into going to war or committing atrocities on their behalf, sometimes even on the basis of false accusations. It's not a new thing. One of the larger causes of male violence is being gullible (or desperate for pussy) enough to listen to women slandering other men.
