@louie @realmacdan Just today, I was wishing for the sheets that are attached directly to windows to make a comeback. With the new modal dialogs, I’ve often encountered bugs where the dialog appears behind the window it should be acting on, making it impossible to access.

@louie And of course the search box thing goes a step further now, if there’s not enough width available it becomes just another grey toolbar button. Better than it used to be, but since it’s a “special” item you’d think it could do with some differentiation. I’m sure a border just like the full search box could work. Instead it’s just another in the row of grey glyphs floating on the blur layer.

@kylehalevi Oh this is your redraw, not an original? I was curious because I couldn’t tell. A few elements were sharper in their borders, but I couldn’t easily verify one way or the other. Well done! (Sorry for posting it! I should find a real example!)
