Fun fact: when HMRC asks you to do a tax self-assessment, they may well decide that they want you to pay them for taxes you have yet to earn in the coming tax year.
This year, they think I should pay them an additional £8k for 2024/2025 on top of the £8k they're already asking for 2023/2024 and frankly I'm freaking out a little.
