So- latest YouTube shenanigans. I used it on a web browser with ad blocker extension which worked really well. It seems in an attempt to stop that, they’ve now made it so that any time I’m inactive for longer thab 3mins-1 hour, I have to sign in again which involves an annoying loop of 2FA “press yes on this other device”.
Think I’m at the point now where I check YouTube even less, or just browse without an account searching only for specific stuff.
Anyone else experiencing this?

@harrybo not that particular issue BUT I'm using Ghostery and I now need to watch the video in an incognito windows to get rid of trackers, ads, etc.
They're definitely upping their game of force feeding us ads (wrong or right as it may be)

@innkeeper @harrybo I personally haven’t had any issues with YouTube using Firefox and UBlock Origin.

@harrybo Might be something nefarious, but might also just be some cookie problems. Given that you have to re-login anyways, clearing cookies and all site data for YouTube and maybe all the other Google sites as well might help.

@Sven yeah I tried this but still persists. I think it may be something to do with the extension I’m using
