I found a good enough MP3/FLAC/OGG tags editor — picard (https://picard.musicbrainz.org/). It supports tag editing, albums cover editing, retrieving metadata from musicbrainz and a simple enough interface.

It's funny enough, but I didn't manage to make it work with musicbrainz😄 — it just doesn't log in, so there's no automatic metadata retrieval. Fortunately, my music catalog is not that big, so it is possible to fix tags/album covers by hand.

@evgandr for pure metadata editing, I used Ex Falso for a long time, but Picard is really good when combined with MusicBrainz. If you're lucky and your album is in the database, you will get a lot of information. If you're not lucky, then you end up spending hours adding data to MusicBrainz to help the cause 😅
