"There's a race of men that don't fit in,
A race that can't stay still;"
The opening lines of 'The Men That Don't Fit In' by Robert W. Service, cited as the favourite poem of sign painting legend Keith Knecht.

Currently looking through various published pieces about Keith Knecht's life and work for a profile I'm working on for BLAG 07 (https://bl.ag/07).
The 2013 film, Sign Painters, was dedicated to Keith, and it's easy to see why; his work was outstanding, and prolific, and he consistently gave back generously to the craft that he worked at for the best part of five decades.
