My very trusty 5+ years old Sony WH-1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones mostly won't turn on, after they got dropped Sunday. It takes several tries, charging in between, to turn them on.

Panic!

I can't function without, especially at work in the open office. Tried taking the headphones apart, and there's nothing obviously broken, nothing to repair. :-(

So I have now ordered a pair of XM5's, the latest and greatest version. They'll arrive tomorrow, I hope.
