does anyone know whether airlines hike up prices around the holidays and reduce them later on? cos ... 5grand to travel to jamaica for two of us is .... just no.

@fyrfli Yes, they do. Also, you will find higher prices when you book too early, not just too late. I find the sweet spot tends to be maybe 3-7 weeks in advance depending on the destination.

@Sharksonaplane it used to be that the further out you booked, the cheaper it got. like you could get a ticket a year in advance for pennies.

@fyrfli @Sharksonaplane according to all the recent promotions from VPNs that I see on YouTube you can sometimes get different prices if you set your exit gateway to a different country when visiting the site. I can’t confirm this myself.
