Still have a lot of unpacking and reshuffling of stuff to do today (fortunately still have 2 more days of leave booked... considering whether to take 2 more off after triaging mail backlog).
The new one is harder to find when coming in and out now (i.e. cannot just wave hand to flick)

What I worry is that with the heatpump where it is, the airflow will only be good for my desk (I.e. heat won't really reach down and to the left of the heatpump - relative to it) given it is ceiling mounted
I.e. Last winter, I had to not only boost the temperature but also move the heater closer to my bed to stay warm enough
Will have to see 🥶
(Is quite a change from being constantly too hot nearly every day for last few months though 😅)

@aligorith I angle the blades of the heatpump down for heating, across for cooling. My theory being that hot air will rise so needs some help to go down, and vice versa.
I have no idea if it helps but it makes me feel like I'm trying. :)

Indeed, I have now tried adjusting the left/right horizontal vane controls to try to blast towards my bed more. Not much range of motion on that I realised.
Next up tonight will be fan speed + flap position. Suspect both need to be boosted more than I'd anticipated (though in any case, should still be quieter than the air purifier heater-fan I used to run)
