Reading journal updates. Got a tip on Fedi regarding OpenLibrary, and this actually fits my needs perfectly. The ability to mark books as read, give them a rating and update entries, or add new entries, without any extra social stuff or commercial elements. OpenLibrary describes it as a kind of Wikipedia for books. So, while reading I can help improve it by adding information and missing titles - yay!

For now I'll be trying this with my profile being at https://openlibrary.org/people/jaywinky . The only bad thing is the site is super slow. I guess the Internet Archive (the awesome organization whose project this is) is still not swimming in money. A small donation done to do my share.

Btw, what is also great about OpenLibrary is that you can borrow e-books and for physical copies it has outbound links for library and purchasing options. The library options come from WorldCat and Library.Link for a few books I checked. The former showed Stockholm as the closest library, while I borrowed mine from the Helmet library system in Helsinki. Helmet-kirjasto, why don't we see the Finnish capital region library system in WorldCat? Library.Link didn't seem to work for me.

Thanks to @sam@social.coop for the OpenLibrary tip!

Belzebubs (2019)

I've read these strips on the web for years but never yet got the actual printed copy. JP Ahonen takes us on a hilarious journey through love, family life, relationships and death metal. I love how the book collects a bunch of different character stories together in strip format, advancing them slowly through the book.
