I'm very lucky that I only just noticed this because I was perusing methods to improve my job-search process.

If you have used Coursera in the past and do not want to be bound to mandatory arbitration, they are not letting you have the option to opt out of the clause in the agreement which went into effect on January 1, 2025. Time to download your Accomplishments and delete your account, because binding arbitration is only good for large corporations, not individuals. 1/

Check out Section 15, and read to the end. Not giving people the option to opt out of this clause is very problematic when it comes to consumer protections.
