Ok, cross country skiing is really hard work. You have to be aware of every inch of your body at all times, but when it works it is so much fun. Fell three times, but nothing serious. My wife is much better than me, she's a downhill skier and this is my first time on any kind of skis. Austrian Alps are beautiful, of course.

@poetaster my ass is in the best shape it's been for a decade after 2 years of weight training based physiotherapy. And it's really paying off, at least in the snow 😄

@poetaster I'm almost in the "it's never too late" category but honestly I never want to go to training and then never regret going, so I do recommend it.
