[#]linux friends I'd like a travel Linux machine capable of compiling and running gcc. I'll use it via a terminal, over usb & WiFi. So no display, keyboard or need for graphics and as small as possible. I could use a Raspberry Pi I guess, but are there more options? Ones that don't have a lot of hardware for graphics?

Ok, cross country skiing is really hard work. You have to be aware of every inch of your body at all times, but when it works it is so much fun. Fell three times, but nothing serious. My wife is much better than me, she's a downhill skier and this is my first time on any kind of skis. Austrian Alps are beautiful, of course.

Advice please - I'm looking for a #website #hosting for an #TTRPG project I'm playing with. Content would be information text, a developers blog, links to a Discord server. Eventually maybe links Patreon or other crowdfunding and purchasing platforms.
I'm technical but not super frontend skilled, and I really want to spend a minimal amount of time in anything other than writing content.

We think we have an "interloper cat", and so I put a cheap security camera to watch the cat flap. So far no sign of the interloper, but I do enjoy getting notified and watching the cats come and go 😻

Bored at the airport I pondered buying a #Nintendo #Switch since they're cheap and I'd sort of forgotten that the Switch 2 is coming out, but I looked at the games on sale and they all looked like such an investment in time, and that the reward cycle would just make me feel guilty about not playing the games often enough.

[#]catsofmastodon people, does your cat obsess about shadows? Iggy, seen here, will hunt shadows or reflected lights on walls non-stop, getting absolute zoomies in the process. It's the first time I've had a cat that does this and I wonder if it's common? I can't help think she has a some unusual vision thing going on.
