I make Pinterest boards a lot - each year I've been doing one of clothes that inspire me, as I navigate ageing/weight gain/style shifts. I also maintain ones for #craft and #sewing inspiration.
Anyway, this week I realised that a lot of the #embroidery I'd been admiring was by one person, Yumiko Higuchi. I think it's the combination of apparent simplicity with absolutely precise placing and stitching that appeals to me.

@crinolinerobot it’s lovely. There are so many stories in there! It also reminds me of the duvet covers I had as a little girl so they feel very comforting and safe to me.

@venite There's definitely something that reminds me of Scandinavian/northern European textiles there - it could be the colour choices, and blockiness.
