I’m very happy to finally have more than 500 characters for posts/replies here on my(this) Mastodon instance. No, I'm not a regular writer of opuses, but often found myself just outside the previous 500 character limit, which then led to time consuming word-tetris exercises. A nice 2025 gift from the Hachyderm team!

I wasn't zoomed in enough to see the true answer!
