I remembered greatly enjoying the Beckinsale Cold Comfort Farm of thirty years ago, and while it's not quite as hilarious as I remember, it's still very funny indeed. I especially enjoyed Sewell as the smouldering farm hand, but it's Burrell's Doom who just cracks me up.

@tomchadwin Horrifying to realise it's 30 years old! Rufus Sewell had a fantastic period then (I saw him in Arcadia a year or so earlier). I've always been slightly disappointed that his subsequent career wasn't more prominent.

@SK53 On balance, I probably agree. Though he was of course in one of my favourites - A Knight's Tale.
