Finally got some time to fix the bike. Took the rear wheel off for a patch—first time doing it. Said a quick prayer to Sturmey and Archer to avoid messing up the gears, but it went back together smoothly. Tried a few tools from the kit; they’re fine in a pinch, but I used the full-sized socket set to speed things up.
Added a spare tube to the frame for road flats, then realized I’d need tyre levers too. Tied a couple to the saddle for now.
