@deneb i still have this weird idea of building an OS with as many parts written in ruby as possible. will it be useful? probably not!

@nilsding @deneb Remember: Linus Torvalds started writing a kernel to toy with the capabilities of the then-quite-new Intel 386! 🙂

No harm in giving it a shot, and if it turns out to just be a learning experience in the sense of the oft-quoted Edison quip, well, it was a learning experience!
