The long walk. Mile 15. Got myself good and lost. But really, how much trouble can I get into as long as I can hear the river? And it's a good thing, because I found a spot where I walked through ferns for about a half mile. What a treat!

Got on lots of other little trails that are completely unfamiliar to me. And, well, lost enough that I had to resort to bushwhacking when what I thought was a trail turned out to be wishful thinking. It just turns a walk into an adventure!

My wife called me pretty much exactly at sunset, putting an end to my adventure. Just slightly under 20 miles.
