@LevelUp assholes gonna asshole, I guess. Domineering people like that really bother me. And then if you go somewhere else to watch what you want to watch without commentary, then they get all mad and are always, "why are you off by yourself and not watching TV with the family?"

My dad used to do that, until he finally got old (or sick) enough that he would just pretty much fall asleep immediately in front of the TV. Then I could watch whatever I wanted without complaint. :holdthepain:

@SynAck I don't even have my own TV anymore but he has 4 to choose from so it's unlikely I will move unless I want to go and watch in my room on my 4k screen with pirated content instead of on live TV in a communal area. :kekw: tbh, most of the time I've always gone off into my own space because of this behaviour.
My dad does fall asleep in front of the TV after arguing for control..then usually we are stuck on QVC or a shopping channel. 💀 If I take the remote to turn it over he wakes up. :|
