Not sure if Mastodon in general, or my sfba.social instance in particular, has a policy covering this sort of thing.

@14mission sure feels like an ad and I agree not what I'd want to see in my feed!
I'd say it violates sfba.social's spam policy (https://hub.sfba.social/2024/07/05/sfba-social-spam-policy/) in their very first bullet:
What is spam?
For purposes of moderation, we define spam as:
I'd think if you reported it to admins they'd block that host. And of course if they don't you can block it yourself.

@constantorbit @14mission I don't know about blocking other servers or blocking remote accounts, but at least for local accounts the kind of commercial activity allowed on sfba.social is pretty limited (there's some fairly explicit language in the server rules).
