@immibis a proper DJ does more than put records on though. There's a big gulf between "simply puts records on" and "creates completely new music with mad turntable skillz". Unfortunately you won't be able to know which one it is until you get there.

@kyonshi you could argue that"live DJs" means at least their sets are not pre-recorded, which... is literally the lowest possible bar.
