An interesting #Retrobrighting thread. I have a few items waiting for treatment and I am going to try a dry method, because I don't want a box full of harmful chemicals around. I am going to try a powerful grow light with UV and a foil lined box with items raised on transparent disposable cups. Hoping to start this experiment at some point under a #DryRetrobrighting hashtag.

@avs @codewiz When I retrobrighted my Apple Extended Keyboard, I just diluted the solution enough to cover the whole keyboard, and it was fine.
It sat out in (not very bright) sun for maybe five hours and I think I got good results.
I’d still use it if the ⌘ key would not make my thumb joint hurt 😔
I believe the dry method is prone to uneven brightening results. That’s maybe the main thing to worry about in the whole process (aside from the harmful chemicals).
