This year I took the train home the day before Christmas and it was crowded as expected but not too bad really (enough seats in all trains). I'm now going back on whatever Dec 31 is called in your language and the entire upper floor of my carriage is empty aka mine. 5 hours no change and only few stops, too, as I caught an extra train. This will be a good journey. *takes out #SteamDeck
