I gave up on New Year's resolutions a long time ago, but since November of this year I've changed jobs and moved to a new city and with the new year approaching I'd like to establish some aspirational "themes" for 2025.

I'm coming up with this as I go, so my apologies that this isn't well-formed, lol.

In no particular order, the "themes" I have in mind are:

Sensibility

Information Theory

Linux Internals

Rust

Three of those are just areas of study/work I'd like to focus on.

With "Sensibility," I want to try to be more disciplined and realistic about what I can comfortably do. I've had a tendency for as long as I can remember to get really excited about a lot of things, spread myself way too thin, and end up feeling like I haven't accomplished anything.
