I see everyone is already writing their Jimmy Carter hagiography.

We, in Latin America, don't forget it was his administration that decided to start supporting the Salvadorian military junta to the tune of a million dollars a day, sponsoring the death squads of a regime that ultimately killed around 90.000 people and displaced more than a million.

He did the same with Mobutu in Zaire.

But he installed solar panels on the roof of the White House, so I guess that evens things out.
