When I was exploring what I wanted to do as an adult, Jimmy Carter was my Governor. We lived in Buckhead and the Carters dined with our family several times when he was governor. He ALWAYS took time to talk to my brother and I and showed genuine interest in whatever babble we found important.
When I learned he was an officer in the Nuclear Navy I found my calling. I chose my 1st career because of the finest man I’ve ever met.
Rest well, Mr. President. You’ve earned it.
