When I was exploring what I wanted to do as an adult, Jimmy Carter was my Governor. We lived in Buckhead and the Carters dined with our family several times when he was governor. He ALWAYS took time to talk to my brother and I and showed genuine interest in whatever babble we found important.

When I learned he was an officer in the Nuclear Navy I found my calling. I chose my 1st career because of the finest man I’ve ever met.

Rest well, Mr. President. You’ve earned it.

Hello brilliant people. I need help.

Ideas actually.

I volunteer for a non-profit and they’re starting a new program. And they asked me to come up with a logo…

I need help with ideas. Here’s the premise: a non-profit organization pitches an idea to 4 potential funders to help get a program off the ground.

Think “Shark Tank for Non Profits”.

The board doesn’t want hearts or hands (too cliche).

Anybody have an idea?

Please help amplify my plea by boosting.

So, take 4 lbs. of apples, a cuppa sugar, 3 allspice, 5 cloves, 2 star anise, 2 cinnamon sticks & a thumb of ginger. Add 6 hours of slow simmering. This is what you get.

I think I’ll jump a little bigger tomorrow.

To the person who found my wallet in Sag Harbor I’m sorry.

First I’m sorry that your situation is so bad that you tried to use my credit card to buy gas at Speedway.

But, I’m MOST sorry that the pieces of leather in which I’ve carried my various cards & ephemera for 20+ yrs will never come back to me.

The cards/ID are already replaced.

But, Hartmann no longer makes small leather goods so I must find a suitable replacement for my second-most personal possession: my belting leather card case.
