Ok #francophones, I’m crowdsourcing recommendations for French language tv shows in the following categories:

• Sitcoms: workplace comedies, telenovelas
• Reality tv: maybe with a travel or talent focus
• Animated, but not for kids.
• Police shows.
• Any history shows? Revolution? Resistance? Colonial history?

I do know about Lupin, Tintin, and Un gars, Une fille. The ideal would be a French language Brooklyn 99. Fred Vargas meets Archer. 30 mins episodes.

@Seanochicago I would recommend "Au service de la France", a comedy show inside the French intel agency during the cold war.

@Seanochicago There was an old show in the 90s-00s called PJ (police judiciaire) which was about a police precinct in Paris. The tone is much darker than Brooklyn 99 though.

@Seanochicago And if you want a sarcastic take on French nationalism and colonialism I'd suggest "Au service de la France" which is a satire of spy movies set in 1950s France.
