Re #Australia the Great Australian Bight is not really a bight at all, and the Nullabor is wiiiide, it's not just a feeling you get when you're crossing it. And look at the size of Indonesia!

Also, on conventional maps Greenland is bigger than South America. In reality it's a fraction of the size.
