One of my christmas prezzies was a novel I’d asked for, sight unseen, based on a random review or recommendation somewhere or other.

12 pages in and I already know it’s going to go by too fast and I’ll be sad when it ends.

Been a while since I’ve stumbled on one like this; it’s a rare, treasured feeling.
