I love streaming services that advertise 4k ultra UHD HDR super magic pixel eye candy. Then give you garbage bit rate chock full of compression artifacts and noise.

It's Disney this time but Discovery (HBO) is the absolute worst with garbage compression.

@ElsaPreme I seem to recall one Louis Rossman ranting about this very thing several months ago.

I mean when piracy is providing a better experience...they're not exactly rewarding people for paying.

Jellyfin will stream at 120Mbps just fine over my home network, and I don't think I even have any source material with that high a bit rate.

There was something about the very 90s textures in Toy Story that made it as bad as it was. But even character motion across a blue sky background was all sorts of bad.
